Stale Cereal No More

When we moved to our new place, we wanted items that would be both functional and decorative. We had purchased an Ikea couch from a close friend and needed a cover for it. So we head out there with a list of ideas.

We totally fell in love with a yellow corduroy cover for our Klippan couch but also got tall mason jar looking holders for our flour, sugar, and cereal. I just enjoyed a bowl of the freshest, crispy Chex that have been in the container for over 2 months. What a great cereal saver!

They look like this
And they can be purchased at any store if they still have them in stock! Totally worth it!

Samsung Galaxy Tab

About six months ago, I purchased the Tab and got right to work using it. The reason for such a large purchase at the time was that my new phone had died and I missed an appointment because the info was stored in my phone. A factory reset was in order for my phone because I couldn't even make a call on it to explain the situation.

I marched into Verizon with a purpose. I needed something that if my phone pulled that again, I could still get to my information and even ask for directions if necessary. Me not being very "I"anything friendly, knew that I needed something on the Android interface. I went in with that in, mind and compared the devices. The salesperson I dealt with wanted me in an iPad but for the same price, I got twice the storage. It was a no-brainer.

A couple months after purchase, I was unable to turn the device on. I sent it back to Verizon and they sent me another. I love my tablet and I literally use it more than I do my phone. It does everything I need and then some. It was a great investment.

Restaurant Review: Konrad's Kitchen

Off the well beaten path, well nothing is really a well beaten path in Sullivan County... You will stumble across Konrad's Kitchen in Yulan, NY.

Located at the four corners in Yulan, this restaurant boasts of delicious homemade dinners as well as sandwiches and lighter fare. Adam and I went to play pool and have some dinner with my mom.

While my mom doesn't eat much, the wings were her choice for dinner. They were very juicy and sauced just right. Adam had the hot corned beef sandwich which was flavorful and juicy. My choice was the Weinerschnitzel and homemade spaetzle. It was absolutely to die for and a wonderful suggestion made by Judit, our waitress.

This dining facility has changed names and owners over the last thirty years but it looks like Konrad and his family are here to stay.
