Product Review: Mary Kay Cream Eyeshadow

All I can say is that the Mary Kay Cream Eyeshadow is totally where it's at! Every mom needs to have one of these in every bag they own so when they run out the door, they are still totally fab!

Ok Loretta, so tell me why this is something I need...

Every woman at any age needs to have the feeling of looking great and feeling great about themselves. Lack of appearance and the care to get dressed to show up is lacking these days. Many people feel going out somewhere in the pj's is acceptable.

NEWS FLASH!!

PJ's anywhere are not acceptable except for in your home or ... you guessed it... in your bed!

If we took just a little bit of time to care about our skin and how we look, I don't think people would have the outlook they do on life. Getting ready for the day should be something we do before we run out the door. But if you don't have that much time to get ready, this eyeshadow is totally what you need to add!
It can be applied with just your finger...nothing else necessary. If you were to bring this and your mascara, you would look like you took a little more time and people would see it! The shadow comes in many shades for different eye looks and feels like a powder with no creasing at the end of the day!

As a Senior Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay, I have noticed that individuals who have wrinkly eyes should stick with a mineral powder as an eyeshadow because it stays better and is more unlikely to settle in the creases.

What is Mary Kay?

Mary Kay is the highest paid direct selling company that offers beauty cosmetics. But it isn't just about makeup that makes Mary Kay what it is. It is about the company's belief system.

Mary Kay goes by the Golden Rule and always believes in putting God first, Family second and Career third. As with any direct selling company, the flexibility in following the Golden Rule and helping others is part of the company's mantra.

Mary Kay will celebrate it's 50 Anniversary this year and is one of the longest, most successful direct marketing companies in the world.

Empowering women is what is boasted of the company. One Woman Can. Yes I Can. These are all ideas that allow women to step up and truly believe in themselves and achieve greatness while doing it.

To me, Mary Kay has been an eye opener. I have been in many companies (I am a professional network marketer) and I feel that the goal of the company to really help women become who they need to be is amazing. My Sales Director motivates me by recognition because I never have received so much recognition as I do with Mary Kay. It is actually my selling point. I love the feeling of recognition and I love to help my team feel just as important as I do. It is why I sell Mary Kay

And We're Back...AGAIN

This month has been absolutely out of control. I have been totally working forever with so many different things that I haven't had a chance to sit down and blog about ANYTHING.

So now we are back. In full swing of blogging because I have scheduled time to do it every day like I was! It is amazing what can get done when you schedule time to get it done.

Today's agenda

  • Blog
  • Clean up from crazy Florida cleaning trip
  • Laundry
  • Get office in order
  • Get Mary Kay orders ready for delivery
  • Honor Everyday Heroes for the work they do by giving them a free facial tonight!
As you can see, I am on the right path for something great!

Words of wisdom for the day - Never let someone else pull you down. They don't deserve that kind of power!

Go forward and be great!

Restaurant Review: Erie

So I can't figure out if it was just because I was overly exhausted or just because I had driven forever but I was totally turned off by the food last night at the Erie in Port Jervis, NY.

We had just finished what seemed to be the longest trip ever from Florida and we needed to refuel. Every meal I have ever had at the Erie was delish and I can't really say that it would totally deter me from eating there again, but I know that what I eat will totally change.

We sat down and received our drinks and our appetizer. We always go for the blooming onion when we eat with mom because she totally loves it. That came out pretty quick as we were the only one of 6 or 7 tables at the place.

We did receive our main course in a timely manner as well but I am not sure if the order was put in right. I asked for my burger rare figuring that I would probably get it medium rare and much to my dismay, it was medium well. My mom asked for the fries well done and that didn't happen. And lastly, we were sitting at the table for at least 10 minutes before the waitress came back and we were able to ask for ketchup. At this point, Adam had already finished his burger and was probably ready for a nap.

Tables began coming and sitting down and it seemed like our waitress was a little overwhelmed but didn't come back and ask us how everything was until we were almost done. I don't know if it was an issue with something in the kitchen or not, but when I want rare and get almost well...I am not happy.

So will I ever eat a burger again at the Erie? Probably not because to them, medium well is rare...
